Pro Heart (Hridayasparsham)
Pro Heart is the first initiative of Care and Share International Foundation. The programme focuses on paediatric cardiology. As of 2008, there are about 30,000 paediatric cardiology cases pending at various hospitals in Kerala. Insufficient funds are the main reasons of the delay in carrying out treatment. It is estimated on an average about Rs.1 lakh will be required for the surgery of each child. The total amount needed to cover the entire expenses is more than hundreds of crores. Such a huge sum can only be made through generous contribution from you.
Care and Share International Foundation plans to conduct 100 surgeries in the initial period. The selection of the children for these treatments is purely on the basis of urgency of the treatment as decided by a panel of experienced paediatric cardiologists. The operations will be performed at leading hospitals inside Kerala by surgeons with immense experience in paediatric cardiology.
You are requested to make your kind contributions for the success of Pro Heart. On receiving your contributions, you will be kept up to date with the progress of the child for whom you have made the contribution. Your helping hand will make a difference in the lives of these budding stars of the future.
